Northland Motorcars has been a family-owned dealership in the Greater Sioux Falls Area since 2012. We started with a simple idea: sell good cars, be straight with people, and earn business the right way. Fourteen years later, that is still how we operate.
We are a family-run dealership. You are not dealing with a rotating door of salespeople when you come in. You work with the same team every time, and we stand behind every vehicle we sell.
We are not a franchise. There is no corporate quota and no inventory we had to take because a manufacturer told us to. Every car on this lot is here because we chose it.
Every vehicle we sell is hand-picked. Our inventory comes from local trades, off-lease vehicles, corporate fleet vehicles, and Midwest auctions, markets we have worked for over a decade. We know what to look for and what to walk away from.
We are picky about what makes it onto the lot. We look at condition, history, and mileage before a vehicle ever goes up for sale. Every car comes with a free Carfax report so you can see exactly what we see.
Most of our inventory runs from $8,000 to $30,000, covering most makes and models. If you are looking for a reliable first car, a family vehicle that can handle a South Dakota winter, or a truck that will hold up on the job, there is a good chance we have something worth your time.
Here is something most used car dealers cannot say: the same family that owns this dealership also runs a full-service repair shop.
Northland Automotive Services is our sister business. When a vehicle comes onto our lot, our service team inspects it. Not a quick once-over, but a real look by experienced technicians who know what a sound vehicle looks like and what a problem looks like.
If they would not put their name on it, it does not go on the lot.
That same shop is available to you after the sale. You already know us, and you know how we operate. That is a relationship most dealerships simply cannot offer.

We work with multiple lenders to find financing that fits your situation. Good credit, building credit, or starting over, we work with buyers across the board. We are not a buy-here-pay-here lot. We connect you with real lenders who offer real loan terms, and our job is to find the best option for where you are right now.
We also take trade-ins. Bring your current vehicle in and we will give you a straight evaluation.

We are located at 1417 West 12th Street in Sioux Falls, SD 57104. While most of our customers are local, plenty make the drive from further out when they find the right vehicle.
